Sanjog Iyer leads Ryan Covington to a castle in a dream.
Ryan Covington enters the castle after Sanjog Iyer leaves him. He enters and walks up a large staircase into a room with large stained-glass windows that depict various events in Ryan's life. The events are replaced by Ryan's reflection which pulls him through the window and causes him to fall to his death. After that, he wakes up.
A dream study submission by Ryan C. describes his recurring dream which takes place in a castle. It starts on "a cobblestone road in black and white set in front of some extremely old castle that was probably forgotten long before I got there." He enters the castle into a courtyard, passes the "moss covered stone walls," and rushes up "a staircase leading up the perimeter wall to a guards hallway, with which has no railing, no safe guard to catch a fall."
- In a forum post, Robert Atkins said the script for Pieces of Me described the setting as an Irish country side, and the castle needed to specifically be an Irish castle. "So I used the Blarney Castle as reference for the story."
