Category talk:Future Groups

Do we really need all these catgories for these groups? I mean, how many future groups will there be? I would think that until we populate the groups a bit, one "Groups" category would be enough. Otherwise we're going to have a lot of wimpy portals and too-specific categories. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:29, 18 May 2007 (EDT)

  • I agree. Heroe!(talk) (contribs) 17:11, 24 May 2007 (EDT)
    • There could be more gn's or episodes set in the future, so who knows. We do know, however, that Hiro is currently in the past, so we may end up seeing a few "past" groups. Seperating out the past and future groups just makes things easier to manage, imho.--MiamiVolts (talk) 17:36, 24 May 2007 (EDT)
      • I actually find it harder to manage. It's more difficult to remember the names of each of the three categories (four if we start doing Past Groups, like for Kensei's army or something). It'd be much easier to just categorize all groups under Category:Groups. By my count, there'd be 8 written articles and 6 unwritten articles. 14 cells in a portal looks much nicer than 3 or 4. If we don't like that, we can still just categorize everything as Named Groups and Unnamed Groups, which would give us a portal of 8 (named) and a portal of 6, which is still nicer than what we have. Sure, there may be more future groups, and we can recreate the category easily then. But until then, it just looks very empty with not much promise of filling up anytime soon. I would consolidate it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:52, 24 May 2007 (EDT)
