Citing Source for Multimedia

The two sound files in this category only have "episode audio capture" listed as their source. Is that enough? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:26, 15 December 2006 (EST)

  • Unless & until we steal make a multimedia equivalent for {{image-screenshot}}, probably. We know where it came from and who holds the copyright, which is really all that matters.--Hardvice (talk) 00:44, 15 December 2006 (EST)
    • I stole and modified one from WP. Use {{audio-episode}}. I can make a {{audio-promotional}} if we decide to u/l, say, the "STCSTW" or "Are you on the list?" sounders.--Hardvice (talk) 15:39, 15 December 2006 (EST)
      • Stole? What? No, never! ... Looks great. I say the promo sounders would be good to have on those pages, but not necessary - if you want to upload 'em, be my guest. ... But wouldn't they still be fin under the {{audio-episode}} source? I mean, just as much as the Image:TheListPromo.jpg and Image:Are You on the List.jpg pics are considered screenshots. Whatever - it's all just a template to me. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:53, 15 December 2006 (EST)
        • Depending on how NBC has their deal with the production company, the copyright for promotional items (including screenshots) may well be different from the copyright for in-episode content. Some production companies retain copyright of their works (or are joint copyright holders with the studio), but NBC probably has exclusive copyright to many of the promotional materials (at least those that aren't in-episode, like the character images from the press kit and the STCSTW sounder. The Are You on the List? sounder sounds like it comes from an episode, though. I already changed Are you on the list.jpg to be image-promotional rather than image-screenshot, since it came from the website and was never broadcast.--Hardvice (talk) 16:24, 15 December 2006 (EST)
          • Gotcha. Yeah, if you want to make a new promotional audio fair use agreement, go for it. I can't see it being used on more than two things so far. I just hope it's not too much trouble to make. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:37, 15 December 2006 (EST)

Subportals?

Should the DVDs be put on a subportal? Also should the Graphic Novel Collection go on books? -Lөvөl 11:41, 3 September 2015 (EDT)

  • I thought about the GN collections, but those aren't actual books (as far as extending the story lines), they're more so just like the DVDs in that it is just a collection of things. But I also think the books should be moved to Heroes Evolutions instead of Promotions. It just doesn't fit in, I don't think. But neither do the games. Which we have more games coming, so yeah.... ~~IHHTalk 12:01, 3 September 2015 (EDT)
