We've discussed this idea before. It's just not a situation that fits well with a category, which should contain taxonomically related articles. These are thematically related articles, so it's more analogous to a series bar. A category implies a similarity in type, and a series bar implies a relationship.--Hardvice (talk) 12:54, 6 April 2007 (EDT)
- Well said. I deleted it. If the community feel strongly that there should be a category for every main character, we can easily reinstate it. There was nothing linking to it, no articles in the category, and the only content was the portal. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:57, 6 April 2007 (EDT)
