This and Are you on the list? both seem pretty useless to me. It seems to me that if you can't say more than one sentence about something, it doesn't deserve its own article. There's nothing here that isn't covered on Portal:Episodes or Story arcs (which also seems kind of redundant, though not to the degree to which this one does).--Hardvice (talk) 17:21, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm with you on this one. Axe them both. -- Ohmyn0(talk) 17:36, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- Well, the episodes didn't air yet, so we don't really have anything to write about. When the episodes air we can add more about how they save the world, ect. Plus, we'd then need to make a whole new page (not that it's hard, merely a minor inconvenience.)---Patrick 19:55, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- Right, but .. well, look at Are you on the list? There's almost nothing there, and what is there is already covered on the episode pages, on Portal:Episodes, and on story arcs. It just seems like no matter what we put here, it's going to be redundant.--Hardvice (talk) 21:21, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- I say delete them both. I agree wiht Hardvice, there's not much we can put here. Heroe(talk) 21:24, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm not quite ready to delete it yet. I agree with Patrick--I think we should at least wait until the first few episodes air to make a decision. As for Are you on the list?, I'd actually be curious to see some content written on that page about how the arc carries through each episode. If it doesn't work, then we can delete it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:53, 26 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm still not clear why this as-yet hypothetical content can't just go on story arcs, which is also largely lacking in content, or why we have pages for these two but not "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" or "Ordinary People Discovering Extraordinary Abilities". To me it feels like making each episode in a character's history section into a separate article, and then only having articles for half of the episodes. The way it stands, there's an unnecessary click to reach a poorly formatted page with no new content and no additional links, but whatever. I don't have to visit it, I guess, but it just looks half-assed and irrelevant.--Hardvice (talk) 03:34, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm not saying it can't go on story arcs, I'm just saying I'd like to see if someone could tie it all together with a good paragraph (which I'm not willing to write right now). I'm not even saying that it's necessary, I just want to give the arcs a fair chance...and then go and save all the helpless little animals in the world. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 04:21, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
- I'm all for giving the arcs a chance. I'm just saying that, even with that content, there's still no point in having a separate article for each arc. It can all be accomplished more succinctly and consistently on story arcs, which needs some actual content anyway.--Hardvice (talk) 04:46, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
- That's cool with me. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:03, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
