Is he really dead? I think it was supposed to be an illusion created by Matt. Sandubadear (talk) 14:18, 13 November 2015 (EST)

  • You could see the guards removing the bloodstained sheets from the room afterwards, so yes, I think so. -Kon (talk) 14:24, 13 November 2015 (EST)
    • It was a tricky scene. There wasn't any gun when he entered the room, so I would say he didn't shoot himself. But later on manor workers seen with bloody plastic sheet, so I guess he beat himself until death.--Sekobro (talk) 14:29, 13 November 2015 (EST)
      • I interpreted it as Matt telepathically hiding the gun (as he had done with objects before), revealing it only when Dearing had decided that he deserved to die. That's what I think Matt meant when he said "Now I'll leave it to you to determine your own punishment". -Kon (talk) 14:33, 13 November 2015 (EST)
        • I'm not sure if there was a gun... Carlos gets a different weapon... And I think Dearing probably thought that he was shooting himself and his body reacted as if it had been shot (bleeding and death).--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:36, 13 November 2015 (EST)
          • I'm tending to agree with Miami. The gun wasn't there, but the telepathic illusion created by Matt allowed him to actually kill himself. But if that's too speculative, we can wait for confirmation next week... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:33, 13 November 2015 (EST)
            • Actually, rewatching the scene, Matt tells him to choose his own punishment for turning in his own kind, he holds a gun to his head, we hear a gunshot, then workers clean the bloody plastic sheets. I'm not sure how else that can be interpreted other than he killed himself. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:56, 15 November 2015 (EST)
