Abilities?!

I'm sorry, what exactly is his ability (or abilities by the looks of it) supposed to be? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 11:52, 12 August 2009 (EDT)

Here's what Heroe's Evolutions RPG lists him as. I suppose we can work out his ability page based on this, but it is quite a bit of stuff. I wanted to get the character page out there first...frankly I forgot about starting the ability page.
Power: Intuitive Empathy and Empathy Communication

Power Description: In an instant, as if in a dream, and analogous to how a shark can detect electrical fields of animals in the sea, "Seal" can receive the "rest of the story" of a person near him, in an unmistakably understandable way, even though it isn't in the form of distinct thoughts, feelings, visions or sounds. This understanding provides him an accurate knowledge of "where a person is coming from" and his/her current mental state, and also, it allows him to see, from that person's point of view, what action(s) in the immediate future that person is most likely to take. Instantaneously, and in an almost precognitive manner, he can extrapolate what the consequences of the possible actions are, and also determine what the best course of action is to take, when there are a few possible and differing outcomes. In his understanding of someone, he can also understand how best the person is motivated to act a particular way, and then, by transmitting an "empathy signal", which is only understood by the intended recipient, he can help the person by giving them, in an understandable yet vague way, a "feeling" which tends to induce the desired action or response. When some people have felt the sensation of "déjà vu", they have probably encountered a signal from someone with an ability similar to Seal's, when he also "lets slip" a little bit of an impression of the possible near-future event, in addition to the sense to choose a certain action, which makes the situation seem "familiar". Other people might call it a hunch, or getting a weird vibe, when describing the message Seal sends. The impression a person gets might even seem like a voice, thought, or "vision" that he or she receives. This ability is not limited to just affecting one person; it has gradually evolved so that he can help many people in a crowded area if he concentrates, but that also tends to exhaust his energy for a short spell. While Seal may have some influence in the actions others may take, being able to help influence another's actions does not force one to act a certain way, though, and a person who receives an inkling from Seal may still choose to not heed the message.

Why do we need an article on this guy?

He didn't appear at all, but was simply mentioned once. I don't think that's worthy of an article. --Radicell 03:55, 12 December 2009 (EST)
