Telepathy
I can't believe so many people are missing this. Arthur DOES have telepathy. If anyone paid attention to the scene right before he took Adam's power, you could hear the sound effects characteristic of telepathy while the camera focuses on Arthur's face. It also goes out of focus, a camera trick that is also used with telepathy. Also, right after this, Adam is visibly frightened and starts protesting. So leave telepathy in there... - Here's a devil's advocate case: Certainly Adam previously knew about Arthur's ability. All that needed to be communicated in order to freak Adam out was that Arthur intended to use it, and that could be done with body language, facial expression, or perhaps with some other unknown ability that Arthur may have stolen. I think at least some kind of "maybe" language should be used. But I won't force the issue. --Tisco 21:17, 24 October 2008 (EDT)
- With all due respect, everyone that plays devil's advocate almost always completely ignores my stated fact about the sound/camera effects. However, if those weren't present in the scene, then I would agree with you. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 21:24, 24 October 2008 (EDT)
- Maybe Maury was nearby, supplying the thoughts necessary to frighten Adam and trigger Knox's ability to hold him down. --Tisco 21:48, 24 October 2008 (EDT)
- Camera and sound effects shouldn't be considered as proof of abilities being used. Remember when Micah touched Monica in S2 and there was his technopathy music? Doesn't mean he was using it on her. --Ciwey 21:51, 24 October 2008 (EDT)

Episode reference
Do we use the episode the ability was stolen in or the episode in which the stolen ability is used? Intuitive Empath 17:36, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
Poison emission
Can we decide on that matter? The number of times people added and removed that power from the template is quite unsettling for me. Intuitive Empath 11:52, 1 November 2008 (EDT)
- Very few people have voiced an opinion on this subject. I was going to leave it when the heading was 'absorbed or demonstrated,' since it was most certainly the former, but since we're going with absorbed abilities that have been demonstrated, I don't think it belongs, as Arthur never actually used the power. --Stevehim 12:03, 1 November 2008 (EDT)
- He may have, when he absorbed Peter's abilities, he made a small spark with lightning but he didn't fire it at anyone, and we say he used it in that episode, I think the same thing can be said about Maya's power, he "summoned" it, even if it didn't affect anyone. - I think the lightning is a different matter, as the ability is to produce lightning, and does not require it to be directed anywhere. Maya's power is to emit poison, which means it would have to affect something external. Arthur's eyes going black could have just been signifying to the viewer that he took the power. The same thing could be said about Hiro and Precognition right now... his eyes turned white as they do with that ability, but he hasn't yet demonstrated any foresight of the future. --Stevehim 12:19, 1 November 2008 (EDT)
