Unused ? Course not!

Is there a way to remove this template and other layout template from the unused templates page ? I had a hard time findind them because I was looking in the templates cat. If we could remove them from this unused templates list; that would be more clear and I wouldn't be tempted to +AFD them since I don't like to see unused stuff! :p --  (talk) 06:16, 13 August 2007 (EDT)

• Having things marked as unused is not the end of the world, but I understand your frustration. Substitutions, when used solely as substitutions, are not included anywhere, so they will be listed on special:unusedtemplates. To search, try navigating category:substitutions rather than category:templates. If you want to clear the unused templates page, I suppose you could make a page like "User:FrenchFlo/Used Templates" or something, and then include all the templates you wanted. I don't know if that would create a bunch of red links, but it wouldn't hurt to try it out. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:04, 13 August 2007 (EDT)

Deleted

I'm not sure why this was deleted. Now the button doesn't work on new user talk pages, since MediaWiki:Newarticletext requests the template. Is there a reason we shouldn't restore it? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:33, 17 November 2007 (EST)
