William Straye is a young man living in London. While growing up, a mysterious organization calling themselves the "Varkus Group" experimented on him and his twin brother Kyle. After years of research, William managed to escape but his brother did not. William never fully returned to his life and was constantly searching for a way to find his lost twin. At the age of 17, he manifested the power to banish people to the Astral Plane, leaving comatose bodies behind.
About
Born to workaholic parents in an unkind neighbourhood, William's closest friend while growing up was his twin brother Kyle. At the age of twelve, William was approached by a mysterious man claiming to work for an organization interested in keeping him safe. The man returned a year later, offering his parents 2 million pounds to let him take William and Kyle to the Varkus Headquarters. The boys were taken to the company and were immediately separated. While there, William realised that his brother had somehow become able to enter his mind. Kyle explained to him that he was able to control the Astral Plane, successfully projecting an astral projection of himself into the minds of others.
A series of brutal testing followed and continued for over a year before the Varkus Group discovered Kyle's power. William, who was also believed to be special, became the subject of much curiosity within the group. Horrible experiments were conducted on him, driving him to the brink of insanity. One day, on the eve of his 16th birthday, William was released when Kyle unleashed a powerful blast of Astral energy that shut down the Varkus Group's security.
William spent over a year on the run, constantly avoiding agents sent to find him. One night, while trying desperately to connect to the Astral Plane, William manifested his power to banish people. Testing this power, William was able to banish every agent that came after him, leaving only empty shells behind. After spending years honing his gift, William now feels that he is ready to find his brother.
Evolved Human Abilities
William possesses the power to banish the Astral spirits of other people to the Astral Plane. This power requires immense concentration and leaves William temporarily weakened after every use. When using his power, William's hands shine red and the person he is targeting also shines red. While his twin has the power to manipulate everything about the Astral Plane, William has shown that he is only able to banish people to it.
