I don't get this page. And it makes it very frustrating when an image or page is deleted that there's always a red link here that needs to be updated. You're entitled to this page, I'm just wondering if there's a better way to do it? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:27, 19 February 2009 (EST)
- Maybe try using DPL coding, which will automatically update so you don't have to keep editing the page every time you upload an image...and that way if a page gets deleted, it will come off the list, too. Here's the code:
{{#dpl:|createdby=NiveKJ13|namespace=Image|ordermethod=firstedit}}And to see what it looks like see here. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:30, 19 February 2009 (EST) - As far as I can tell, it's just used to show the images he has created until he uses them. I think a better way would be to use DPL to produce a dynamic gallery of the images he created, but I'm not sure if that's what he wants. Looks like Ryan already has this covered, though. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:33, 19 February 2009 (EST)
- Miami, what's the code for a dynamic gallery? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:55, 19 February 2009 (EST)
- Sorry I'm a bit late for this discussion, I didn't noticed it before. Miami's right, I was just using this page to see the result of the images I've uploaded before actually putting them on the actual article. And it seems easier since I dont have to save a page then click the image redlink then upload the image. I mean, if I do it this way, I can just copy and paste the names of the image on the editing area then save it, instead of actually clicking the redlinks one by one on each page.
Plus, I'm using Opera which makes the whole process easier becuse I just have to open tabs on each image redlinks and upload all of them at the same time. And by the way, do we I need to put this in a gallery-style look?--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 12:47, 21 February 2009 (EST)
- No, they don't need to be in a gallery. I was just thinking of 1) how to make it easier on me when an image on your page gets deleted, and 2) how to make it easier on you so you don't have to update this page every time you upload an image. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:37, 21 February 2009 (EST)
