* I'm surprised this is the first time we've seen a studio credit for a colorist. Colors (and nowadays, most of the inks) are done digitally now, and most of the mainstream books don't even credit an individual colorist anymore. Digital Chameleon, for example, colors a huge chunk of Marvel's and DC's books, and doesn't credit individual colorists. I'm not sure how big they are these days, but they used to have four colorists who did literally hundreds of books a month, sometimes having multiple colorists do different pages from the same books. They treat it a lot more like a business assignment than an artistic endeavor. The software is pretty incredible; I was talking to one of the colorists at Nerd Prom a few years ago and she said it takes almost no time to color a book these days (it's always been one of the quickest aspects of comic creation -- Glynis Oliver used to do a huge chunk of Marvel's books every month, even before digital colors).--Hardvice (talk) 07:26, 5 March 2007 (EST) |

**Right. I think in cases like that, we should just list the studio (or nothing at all). BTW, Jason Badower mentioned on his blog and an email that they have begun formalizing the "rotation" of artists; it seems like some of our colorists work with specific artists (Jason Badower works almost exclusively with Annette Kwok, for instance). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:42, 5 March 2007 (EST) |

Colorist
The colorist for this GN is listed as "Edgar @ Studio F". I can't find any information on him, so I'm not going to link him. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:09, 5 March 2007 (EST)
- I'm surprised this is the first time we've seen a studio credit for a colorist. The software is pretty incredible; I was talking to one of the colorists at Nerd Prom a few years ago and she said it takes almost no time to color a book these days (it's always been one of the quickest aspects of comic creation -- Glynis Oliver used to do a huge chunk of Marvel's books every month, even before digital colors).--Hardvice (talk) 07:26, 5 March 2007 (EST)
