Mrs. Comey is a woman living at the Sullivan Bros. Carnival who frequently cooks breakfast for her carnival family. She is also an evolved human with the ability to rapidly heat objects by touching them.

Character History

Hysterical Blindness

Mrs. Comey makes blueberry waffles for Samuel and the rest of the "family", using her hand to heat an unplugged waffle maker. She is happy to hear that Samuel enjoys her waffles.

Upon This Rock

Mrs. Comey makes blueberry pancakes for breakfast, which Claire eats and thoroughly enjoys. Lydia has Claire bring some of Mrs. Comey's pancakes to Samuel, as he also enjoys them.

Mrs. Comey's name is on Edgar's list. She is described as a heat generator.

Heroes Evolutions

Purpose

In chapter 5 of Purpose, John Mulligan hides behind Mrs. Comey's trailer. He sees her waffle iron, and uses it to look around the corner to see Chris and defend himself against Chris, Bo, and Pearl.

Evolved Human Abilities

Mrs. Comey can generate heat. She uses this to cook waffles with just her hand placed on a stove. When using her ability, Mrs. Comey's hand glows red. She appears to be immune to the heat she produces. It is not known if she is immune to other heat sources.
