Wow

I can't believe I remembered Abu, from a long time ago. I was reading the graphic novel (The History of a Secret) and the main character's name was Abu Aswan, and I was like, hmm, that sounds familiar. Sure enough he has his own article. But with limited information --Dman dustin 03:44, 5 February 2008 (EST)

Levitation?

Are we sure it's levitation because he lifts it up normally as if he has super strength much like the imaginary ancient egyptian he imagines. But later he actually dreams of someone who has levitation. I mean he may have levitation but so far all he's exhibited is super strength like Niki/Jessica would. --Dman dustin 03:55, 5 February 2008 (EST)

  • I think it's implied that he has levitation since he is supposed to have the same power as his anscestors, and their power was levitation in the dream.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:13, 5 February 2008 (EST)
    • It's described as the ability "to levitate and move extremely heavy objects". He has the ability to not only lift a "one ton boulder", but to move objects in a way that looks telekinetic. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:12, 5 February 2008 (EST)
      • Isn´t this power the same as telekinesis? Unless he can´t move light objects (which would be...strange), it looks the same, with the difference that he is touching the objects. But the other Egyptian guy didn´t, so it seems to be telekinesis. --Referos 09:44, 5 February 2008 (EST)
        • Telekinesis also has the ability to do things like cut open heads and turn the knobs on an IV of curare. I don't think levitation has that ability. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:43, 5 February 2008 (EST)
          • Oh right, makes sense. So he has a power that copies only a single aspect of TK. Even assuming that he can move heavier things that Sylar, his power is a bit...disappointing.--Referos 13:46, 5 February 2008 (EST)

As was said once before, the NBC blurb at the top is likely writen by someone that is not a writer for Heroes of any stripe, and is not always accurate. In this instance, s/he may have interpreted the GN wrong. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 14:14, 5 February 2008 (EST)
