::::* I wouldn't mind it in both categories ... though I don't think it necessarily needs to go in either portal. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:08, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

I request a formatting to allow full Wikipedia style infoboxes and tables. --Gaterion 20:29, 17 October 2006 (EDT)

How's it look now? Added the Wikipedia infobox and wikitable CSS. (Admin 00:00, 18 October 2006 (EDT))
• Is this just a reprint of the WP article? Do we still need it? Its redlinks are showing up as needed pages.--Hardvice 17:17, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
• I believe it was originally taken from Wikipedia by the original contributor, yes. Since we're striving for original content I'd be in favor of eliminating it and recreating a new version here if we need one at some point in the future. I believe the desired goal was to be able to clean up the Main Page and keep it from getting too long by moving the character lists deeper into the wiki. If we wind up with too much on the Main Page at some point then I'd suggest that's when we start optimizing it for space, but until then I think it's ok. Will leave Heroes around for a little while to solicit any more opinions on its deletion before I actually delete it. (Admin 17:28, 24 October 2006 (EDT))
• Cool. I was able to wipe p most of its redlinks with redirects, many of which we probably needed anyway. :)--Hardvice 17:30, 24 October 2006 (EDT)
• I'm seriously up for deleting this page. It holds no purpose now that almost every piece on information on it is talked about more indepth on their own separate pages. Maybe we should still keep a Heroes around to explain a brief overview of the series but certainly not this dated copy of the Wikipedia page. --Sidney 01:39, 26 October 2006 (EDT)
• Talk about resurrecting a discussion from the past! :) I think we need a Heroes article again to provide a description of the show itself. We have all this material on everything that has happened in Heroes, but no high-level article on Heroes itself. We've got every other piece of info people would like to know about the show except for an in-depth explanation of the show itself. (Admin 16:33, 16 April 2007 (EDT))
• I very much agree. I was actually just thinking about that the other day and was going to write something, but got sidetracked. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:51, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
• I just added some Heroes links on lostpedia but we didn't have a page for Heroes so I had to link to the one on wikipedia. -Lөvөl 18:06, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
• Was it you that added the links on Isaac of Uluru? It was the one Wikipedia link on that page that convinced me that we need a Heroes page of our own again. (Admin 18:25, 16 April 2007 (EDT))
• That was indeed Level who gave us some love over on lostpedia (and fixed Issac's name, too). I've seen some other sites that have done similar things. I'm all in favor of a a Heroes page. Soon enough, soon enough. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:07, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

Suggested additions

Checklist of some things we can do to improve this article:

• Expand description of Heroes show
• Expand Season 1 description
• Incorporate info from Broadcasts article, but rewrite it so it's original content.
• Heroes 360 info (approx. date it started, brief description of what it is, link to Heroes 360.
• Okay, I've got not so much a checklist, but some ideas:
• General overview of the graphic novels
• Media quotes about Heroes
• I wouldn't mind seeing a link to awards
• A mention of the art auctions for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project
• One of the things for which I'm constantly searching is ratings. Ultimately, Nielsen's site only gives the top 10 each week. Entertainment Weekly often prints the top 20, but they're inconsistent (sometimes they do primetime, sometimes cable, sometimes just daytime, etc.) I would love if somebody could find info about viewership and ratings
• And while I'm on the subject of viewers, I'm really curious as to the amount of downloads each GN gets, or how many hits http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/ gets.
• Production is more for behind-the-scenes articles. This will in part be about the content of the show. It could be both Heroes and Production.--Hardvice (talk) 00:02, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
