The She

            • LOL. I've opined before that we're a little bit hasty with our judgment when it comes to significant others, which I've always seen as more a catch-all descriptor for "relationship", not merely, uh, "relations". It is entirely possible for two people to know one another without really knowing one another, and referring to such a pairing as "significant" seems fundamentally silly. Heck, the way I look at it, even people who have been on a date, or expressed interest in one another, haven't necessarily "dated" within the meaning implied by "significant others" (Brody and Claire, for example—one evening of mutual flirting plus rape does not equal a "significant" relationship). For all we know, Linderman didn't even know Linda's last name. Unless they were twelve, I doubt they thought of each other as boyfriend-girlfriend.--Hardvice (talk) 09:09, 8 March 2008 (EST)
