By "they," you mean "we," right? If so, I understand completely.

But how is my corrections turning correct things into incorrect things?

Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the Wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:ERROR/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Standardizing your user page

Hi and welcome again. If you want to add an infobox to your userpage, you can go to Template:User infobox and copy the text there. Then, edit your userpage and paste the copied text there, customizing it as you wish. Hope that helps!--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:40, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

Thanks!--ERROR 18:46, 27 May 2009 (EDT)

Thanks, but you didn't. Ask permission first! My stuff!--ERROR 16:29, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

  • Where is this? On your userpage or on another page? --IronyUTC CH 16:31, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

My userpage.--ERROR 16:38, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

    • It does show your abilities, under the about bar. --IronyUTC CH 16:40, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

Does now. Thanks!--ERROR 17:31, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

Etiquette

Hey, Error. Welcome to the wiki! Just a quick tip for you about talk page etiquette, to go along with your great edits elsewhere. It's really not necessary to correct the grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. of other users on talk pages. In fact--and I don't mean this as a criticism, just as something to watch out for--some of your corrections are actually turning correct things and making them incorrect. Not a big deal overall, but it's probably best just not to edit other peoples' comments. Thanks for understanding! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:21, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

Sure, okay. Sorry. But what's etiquette? Is that when you edit other people's stuff? And how do you know it's me?--ERROR 09:52, 30 May 2009 (EDT)

  • They can check any page's history and see who edited what. And etiquette is a fancy word for manners.--Boom D  83  10:00, 30 May 2009 (EDT)
