Hi PJDEP. When you upload an image, you have to give it a category. If it is an image for yourself and your user pages, then put <nowiki>[[Category:User Images]]</nowiki>. If you are uploading a screenshot then put <nowiki>{{image-screenshot|Name of character=t|Name of episode, Graphic Novel, or webisode=t}}</nowiki>. Also when you upload a user image, you have to credit where you got it from, otherwise it will be deleted. Thank you.--{{User:Catalyst/sig}} 16:53, 14 November 2009 (EST)

** Hey PJDEP, I've just seen that you've uploaded a new image, [http://heroeswiki.com/Image:Clairgustance.jpg| here]. You're going to want to add a source to that, otherwise it will get deleted. == Pardon Me ==

Dear PJDEP,<br />
I think you misunderstood what I was saying about Trevor's ability. I haven't seen that episode for a while; I didn't even remember a sound effect accompanying his power. What I meant was that all other sonic ability require sound to work ([[Jesse Murphy]] couldn't [[Sound manipulation|scream]] when Sylar telekinetically choked him, for example). Trevor's "trigger movement" (no pun intended) wouldn't make any appreciable noise. Without sonic energy to work with, a sonic-based power doesn't work, plain and simple. Please let me know if I've got this right.<br />

== Explanation ==

Dear PJDEP,<br />
You said that Samuel is more powerful than Sylar. Technically, you are right. However, Sylar has one thing which Samuel lacks: experience. Sylar has killed somewhere around two dozen evolved humans; he has rendered it down to a fine art. No matter how strong Samuel is, in a standoff, Sylar could simply use any one of several offensive abilities to 1-hit KO Samuel. The strength of an ability isn't as important as the user's facility with it. Think of the Old West: the fastest draw always wins the duel. In this analogy, Sylar is like Billy the Kid: very talented, and constantly honing that talent. Samuel is like a time traveler who thinks he can take Billy out if he uses a bazooka instead of a revolver. If he actually could fire the bazooka, he'd probably win: however, Billy would put a bullet between his eyes before he even hefted the thing onto his shoulder. (Sorry for the lengthy explanation; I'm rather wordy.)
--[[User:D and d 123|D and d 123]] 18:37, 29 November 2009 (EST)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, Sylar doesn't target 'weak' evolved humans (like Bob and Bridget) because he is weak. Sylar is an equal-opportunity murderer; he uses the intense concentration required to absorb a power to block out and ignore his own psychological problems (which are numerous). If you're special, you're a potential candidate for an impromptu TK scalping.
--[[User:D and d 123|D and d 123]] 18:37, 29 November 2009 (EST)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Good points. However, Sylar has (at least so far) been about as close to unstoppable as any character has gotten. He's achieved horror-movie-monster levels of resilience. Shoot him in the chest with a minigun? That's fine; he'll regenerate. Lock him up? He's got almost as many powers as Superman; he'll put his intuitive aptitude to work and escape (eventually). Samuel and Sylar have one big thing in common, though: insanity. Samuel is obsessed with becoming stronger and stronger; so is Sylar. People who are truly, 100% percent insane can sometimes do things that they shouldn't be able to (lunatic insight, anyone?). As long as Sylar didn't get the drop on Samuel, Sam would beat him up. But, if he didn't take him out ASAP, then Sylar could use flight to escape/evade whatever earth weapons Samuel used, while simultaneously blasting him with lightning or some such. They might finish each other off. So, it'd be kind of an even fight.--[[User:D and d 123|D and d 123]] 18:57, 29 November 2009 (EST)

Well first, you could have made the first image smaller on your user page by typing in <nowiki>[[Image:Name of Image|200px]]</nowiki> (or whatever size you wanted.) Or you could have uploaded a new version of the image. But you would have to ask an admin to delete the first image. Hope that helps.--{{User:Catalyst/sig}} 18:04, 21 December 2009 (EST)

You added two spaces after a full stop. They're unnecessary as they're not rendered when you see the article, they're interpreted as a single space. Last year I remember someone got very angry at me for doing this, even taking it up to a sysop (don't remember which one though), who showed said user that according to some registry/style manual two spaces are either old-school or unnecessary. It's also a personal pet peeve of mine, to boot. == Puppet master ==

I meant the name we got from the list. In AT, the context said his ability was called "puppet master". Mrs. Comey entry in Edgar's list said "heat generator", meaning she generates heat, her ability being heat generation. Since puppet master can be now understood the same way, cause there was no explicit thing like "the name of the ability is XXXXX", the same logic can be applied. A puppet master puppets things, hence puppetting. Angela's relationships

So you must be displeased with my suggestions regarding Angela and Victoria? Nevertheless the random woman is seen on three panels in 1963. Perhaps this is Elle's mother? Except she would be about Angela's age, so that's 38 when she gave birth to Elle, if it's her. I think it might be Leona, because Angela said they knew each other since they were kids (Angela is 18 here). Victoria would be about 15 at the most, if she is in her twenties in 1977 though BTE has stuffed timelines and ages before. --User:Blood69 22:46, 18 February 2010 (AEST)
