Hi PJDEP. When you upload an image, you have to give it a category. If it is an image for yourself and your user pages, then put [[Category:User Images]]. If you are uploading a screenshot then put {{image-screenshot|Name of character=t|Name of episode, Graphic Novel, or webisode=t}}. Also when you upload a user image, you have to credit where you got it from, otherwise it will be deleted. Thank you.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 16:53, 14 November 2009 (EST)

  • If you made the image, put: Made by PJDEP. And no worries, I had a few problems when I first started too. :) --Catalyst · Talk · HL 17:03, 14 November 2009 (EST)
    • Hey PJDEP, I've just seen that you've uploaded a new image, here. You're going to want to add a source to that, otherwise it will get deleted. If you made it then as Catalyst has said "put: Made by PJDEP". If not you really should add a source :) --Leckie -- Talk 17:24, 29 November 2009 (EST)
      • Its okay! :) When I first started uploading images I would always forget to, its a habit really after a while you just start doing it :) --Leckie -- Talk 17:36, 29 November 2009 (EST)

If you only have boring abilities then how do you split open someone's skull --Yoshi n1 16:54, 14 November 2009 (EST)

  • The same way Brian Davis's skull was opened.--PJDEP 16:56, 14 November 2009 (EST)

Pardon Me

I think you misunderstood what I was saying about Trevor's ability. I haven't seen that episode for a while; I didn't even remember a sound effect accompanying his power. What I meant was that all other sonic ability require sound to work (Jesse Murphy couldn't scream when Sylar telekinetically choked him, for example). Trevor's "trigger movement" (no pun intended) wouldn't make any appreciable noise. Without sonic energy to work with, a sonic-based power doesn't work, plain and simple. Please let me know if I've got this right.

You said that Samuel is more powerful than Sylar. Technically, you are right. However, Sylar has one thing which Samuel lacks: experience. Sylar has killed somewhere around two dozen evolved humans; he has rendered it down to a fine art. No matter how strong Samuel is, in a standoff, Sylar could simply use any one of several offensive abilities to 1-hit KO Samuel. The strength of an ability isn't as important as the user's facility with it. Think of the Old West: the fastest draw always wins the duel. In this analogy, Sylar is like Billy the Kid: very talented, and constantly honing that talent. Samuel is like a time traveler who thinks he can take Billy out if he uses a bazooka instead of a revolver. If he actually could fire the bazooka, he'd probably win: however, Billy would put a bullet between his eyes before he even hefted the thing onto his shoulder. (Sorry for the lengthy explanation; I'm rather wordy.) --D and d 123 18:37, 29 November 2009 (EST)

Also, Sylar doesn't target 'weak' evolved humans (like Bob and Bridget) because he is weak. Sylar is an equal-opportunity murderer; he uses the intense concentration required to absorb a power to block out and ignore his own psychological problems (which are numerous). If you're special, you're a potential candidate for an impromptu TK scalping. --D and d 123 18:37, 29 November 2009 (EST)

Good points. However, Sylar has (at least so far) been about as close to unstoppable as any character has gotten. He's achieved horror-movie-monster levels of resilience. Shoot him in the chest with a minigun? That's fine; he'll regenerate. Lock him up? He's got almost as many powers as Superman; he'll put his intuitive aptitude to work and escape (eventually). Samuel and Sylar have one big thing in common, though: insanity. Samuel is obsessed with becoming stronger and stronger; so is Sylar. People who are truly, 100% percent insane can sometimes do things that they shouldn't be able to (lunatic insight, anyone?). As long as Sylar didn't get the drop on Samuel, Sam would beat him up. But, if he didn't take him out ASAP, then Sylar could use flight to escape/evade whatever earth weapons Samuel used, while simultaneously blasting him with lightning or some such. They might finish each other off. So, it'd be kind of an even fight.--D and d 123 18:57, 29 November 2009 (EST)

Thanks for trimming those character pages

Peter's is stupid image

Just wanted to ask, do you like the new image?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 02:15, 18 December 2009 (EST)

Milo Y Zach

Well first, you could have made the first image smaller on your user page by typing in [[Image:Name of Image|200px]] (or whatever size you wanted.) Or you could have uploaded a new version of the image. But you would have to ask an admin to delete the first image. Hope that helps.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 18:04, 21 December 2009 (EST)

Re:Claims to Edgar

It was at the end of Tabula Rasa, right before Lydia invites Sylar to her trailer. Samuel said he can remake Sylar in a way he'll be theirs forever. Green.gif AltesUTC CH 04:15, 23 December 2009 (EST)

You changed the Season Three character template. His name was mentioned in Season Four, so in Season Three he was known as The Haitian, not René. If you take a look at his page it shows the Season Four character template that says his name as René.--Iheartheroes 23:15, 24 December 2009

Re: Ando images

Whoops! Yes, those are both from Genesis, I totally forgot to tag them. Thanks! --Ricard Desi (t,c) 19:40, 26 December 2009 (EST)

Re:Theory edits

You added two spaces after a full stop. They're unnecessary as they're not rendered when you see the article, they're interpreted as a single space. Last year I remember someone got very angry at me for doing this, even taking it up to a sysop (don't remember which one though), who showed said user that according to some registry/style manual two spaces are either old-school or unnecessary. It's also a personal pet peeve of mine, to boot. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:14, 2 January 2010 (EST)

Trust me, I understood the message, I was merely given an example. By full stop, I mean ".", that which ends a sentence. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 15:41, 2 January 2010 (EST)

Just wanted to say that you are doing a good job lately on Heroeswiki :) -- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 17:07, 11 January 2010 (EST)

  • :), btw can i add you at my Heroes wik friends list?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 17:24, 11 January 2010 (EST)
    • Ok cool, wich image should i use?-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 17:28, 11 January 2010 (EST)
      • No it's not that but sometimes people want another image. But i will use your user image then :)-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 17:34, 11 January 2010 (EST)
  • Can I just say, I agree with Yoshi! I've noticed that you've been doing brilliantly on here lately :) Especially with the arguments for renaming abilities (this one especially!) --Leckie -- Talk 13:24, 12 January 2010 (EST)
    • Thanks for sorting out that little thing on the Enhanced synesthesia talk page! Sometimes I have a complete editing blank, and decided not to do anything for fear of making it worse :D --Leckie -- Talk 15:27, 13 January 2010 (EST)

Puppet master

I meant the name we got from the list. In AT, the context said his ability was called "puppet master". Mrs. Comey entry in Edgar's list said "heat generator", meaning she generates heat, her ability being heat generation. Since puppet master can be now understood the same way, cause there was no explicit thing like "the name of the ability is XXXXX", the same logic can be applied. A puppet master puppets things, hence puppetting. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:22, 12 January 2010 (EST)

PJDEP, when changing the season number in the character template, please add the old category by hand, so the character is still listed as being part of previous seasons. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 07:13, 19 January 2010 (EST)

Fan fiction

So i was looking at the recent edits, saw your fan-fiction page and seen that you wanted some help and that. Here's the fan-fiction portal. If you're needing any help with it, just leave a comment either on my talk page, or you can ask on the fan fiction portal talk page. Good luck with it, i can't wait to read it. --mc_hammark 15:30, 19 January 2010 (EST)

Artistic license

I've seen you use this phrase a couple of times before. Can I ask what it means? --mc_hammark 15:18, 21 January 2010 (EST)

  • No, no, I get it; sometimes they have to fudge the facts to make it work out... --mc_hammark 15:28, 21 January 2010 (EST)

Mainspace articles created

Instead of doing that you could use this code {{#dpl:|createdby=PJEDP|notnamespace=User|notnamespace=User_talk|notnamespace=Image|notnamespace=Image_talk|notnamespace=Talk |notnamespace=Spoiler_talk|notnamespace=Category_talk|ordermethod=firstedit}} It should update for you so you don't have to type them up. --mc_hammark 13:05, 27 January 2010 (EST)

  • Yeah it does, as soon as you create a page that is a mainspace page it updates it straight away. I use it on here. --Leckie -- Talk 13:40, 27 January 2010 (EST)

Edgar's death

When did Edgar die? --User:Blood69 18:29, 30 January 2010 (EST)

Hey this is going to sound really ridiculous but maybe I'm missing something...I added a theory about Lauren having powers and I guess you proved it wrong but why get rid of it? Aren't the purpose of theories to be debated and not deleted? Sorry, I know it's petty but I was just curious. --Nicknameguy 00:57, 1 February 2010 (EST)

Hey PJDEP, in regards to your question, did you mean this? What I did, was ask Jenx222 if I could borrow the coding from his navbar, then made my one (using his coding) with different colours and the links to all my pages. Then all I have to do is remember to put {{User:Leckie/Visions of Earth/Navbar}} at the bottom of every page :) --Leckie -- Talk 11:22, 4 February 2010 (EST)
