  • 6/10 -- Kristin of E! Online confirms that the villain, Jesse Murphy, will share at least one scene with actress who plays Elle, and that the character will be around for at least three episodes. Jesse is to be a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power.
  • 6/10 -- TV Guide announced that Francis Capra has joined the cast as Jesse and his villainous character will cross paths with Peter Petrelli.
  • 5/8 -- According to SpoilerFix, a casting call has been released for Jesse, who is to be a new recurring character introduced in an episode entitled The Butterfly Effect. The description given for the part is that he should be 28-38 years of age. He is also to be an intense guy with an explosive temper, violent, cruel, and a mean looking S.O.B.

Notes

  • Jesse has many tattoos, as does Francis Capra, the actor who portrays him. Some of the Francis's tattoos were kept (for instance, the tattoo on his right arm that says "The Good Must Suffer" and the tattoo on his right pectoral). However, some tattoos were added to Francis's body, and his existing tattoos were expanded.

  • Jesse will be a villain and have the ability of induced radioactivity.
  • Jesse is the same person as the deceased Jess Murphy from the list
  • Jesse is the bald man in the level 5 cell launching blue flames at the walls.
  • Jesse is the younger half brother of Echo DeMille mentioned in Echo's file (the same Echo who is locked up in Level 5 in a different cell).
  • Jesse will have the ability Disintegration touch.
  • Jesse can create sonic screams that cause distruction to know limit as long as he screams hard enough.
