Theory Citations Notes
Amanda's father is actually Peter. None + This image bears some resemblance to Peter.
- Peter doesn't have bright eyes.
Sylar doesn't have bright eyes, either.

- Nothing suggests Peter ever had a pregnant girlfriend.

- Nothing suggests he ever met Lydia at all.
Some characters ended up being related while they were never expected to be (for example, Claire and Nathan).

- Lydia would have expressed some concerns about making Peter join the Carnival if he was her old boyfriend.
- Peter wouldn't run from a pregnant girlfriend.
+ Peter is around the same age as Lydia who was a teenager at the time. Most teenage boys would want to escape having a pregnant girlfriend.
- The Painted Lady implies that Amanda's father married Lydia, so both of them were adult. Peter was at most sixteen years old at that time.
Casting call lists Lydia at 30 years old. Seeing that Amanda is 15, that would make her 15 at the most when she was conceived. So she isn't old enough to marry without parental consent.

Trevor Zeitlan is Amanda's father. None + Trevor resembles Amanda's father.

+ Trevor is arrogant and the kind of man who tries to impress people like Elle.
+ Trevor is the right age to be Amanda's father.

- Lydia got pregnant fifteen years ago. Trevor appears to be too young.
+ Trevor is said to be up to 30 when he died in 2006. That makes him about 18 when Amanda would be born if she is 15. So he could be old enough.
Gordon Hovey is Amanda's father. None + Gordon is a highly religious person. Maybe because he is a defrocked priest.

+ He appears to be old enough to be Amanda's father.
+ He is an evolved human.
+ Lydia might have sensed that he may have thought of becoming an priest with a Christian denomination that allows marriage. A child might have made this impossible to achieve due to the time spent on raising the child, instead of studying for the seminary.

- Gordon doesn't seem like the kind of man who would leave the Catholic Church.
+ Gordon might never have been Catholic, because Catholics pray in Latin.
+ Gordon being her father, might be the vehicle to introduce the character to the episodes.
Melvin Crum is Amanda's father. None + Melvin Crum was an adult when Amanda was born.

+ Lydia cried when she felt he died.
- Lydia didn't know about Arnold.
- Lydia may have been upset for Arnold's sake.
+ Lydia ran away with Amanda's father. She may never have meet his father.
+ Arnold slightly resembles Amanda's father.
