Which it shows Nathan possibly believing it. When he meets up with peter, and sees that he is teamed up with Adam, he will tell him he is with the bad guy. + Peter will probably trust Nathan. For one they are brothers. For another he knows that his own brother wouldn't be lying to him in this kind of situation.
