Stephen Canfield is not dead.	According to Heroes Interactive, his vortices have a "dimensional pull".	+ While being in another dimension, he may be able to create another vortex to come back. - He may have been killed by the process of entering the other dimension, or something or someone waiting for him on the other side. - He may not be able to return to the same dimension. If the other dimension is not in the same time-space continuum, he can be considered dead in terms of relativity if he cannot return before he dies of starvation, thirst or old age.
