That pretty much says he's gay. Elle was really sexy and a guy would have to be to say no to her. • Just because her seduction act didn't work on Zach doesn't necessarily prove that he's gay. Not every straight person has to fall for a seduction act easily. I know from my experience as a heterosexual that I only had few crushes on girls, and when a girl who was my classmate tried to kiss me while class was in session, I didn't respond, even though I was straight. Besides, Gaston's attempts at seducing Belle in Beauty and the Beast never worked on her either, so should we say that she's a lesbian? + Multiple times the staff of Heroes have acknowledged the fact that Zach was meant to be gay.
Zach will be back no matter what happen with his sexuality at least for a brief appearance just to say goodbye to Claire.	None.	- Claire and her family moved and changed their names. It is unlikely that they gave Zach this information despite his friendship with Claire for fear of being followed. - The actor who plays him has left to do other projects.
