::* Personally, I think you're over-reacting. The theory was meant to be funny. It was added by a user who is most definitely not a vandal. And eventually, we'll find out who the killer is and it will go away. No harm, no foul. :::*Agreed. Initially, we had an influx of theories about waffles and Mr. Muggles, but that's what's "fun" about the fan-side of this site. It's not wikipedia, it's still a fan site. See fan powers for example. The theory sections are not meant as a means of using canon material, but speculation by fans.--Bob (Talk) 12:01, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Removal of absurd "Bill Bellichek" Theory

I'm Going to remove the ridiculous and non-sequitir theory that an NFL Football coach is the hooded killer. If anyone has a problem with that feel free to revert to an earlier page edit and be ready to give a good reason why.--JYHash 04:26, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

 • See Help:Theories. The only grounds for removing a theory is if proves true or proves false. Merely silly or absurd theories which are technically possible should not be removed. See most anything on Theory:Mr. Muggles or Theory:Waffles. Listing a theory on the page merely reports that the theory exists. It is not an endorsement of the theory itself.--Hardvice (talk) 04:44, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
 • But at what point do we consider non-sequitir and unhelpful edits to be vandalism? Sure, if you speculate within the breadth of the series (i.e. It may be absurd that, say, Mohinder is the Killer or even Molly, but at least it stays within the series scope.) it should be retained until proven false. But if it is something that has no relation to the series in any way outside of mocking the fact that people are creating theories, I think it should be removed and cited as potential vandalism. Or at least held up for a vote as to whether or not it should be retained by the wiki community.--JYHash 04:50, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
