Hiro is sometimes referred to as "Pikachu".
About
Pikachu (ピカチュウ) is often considered the most popular (and arguably the most widely recognized) character of the Pokémon creatures. Pokémon is a collection of games, anime, manga, and other media originated in Japan. Pikachu is considered the official mascot of the Pokémon world. Pikachu has the ability to store and release electricity in its cheeks.

When Daphne sees Hiro and Ando at the moviehaus, she says, "You're 0 for 2 against me, Pikachu."
Dual
When Hiro meets Tracy in Arthur's office at Pinehearst Headquarters, she derisively calls him "Pikachu". Hiro then exclaims "Excuse me!" and punches Tracy in the face.

- The Heroes Interactive for Dual compares Hiro's appearance as a furry cat in The Trial of the Black Bear to a Pokémon character. Indeed, in Hiro's appearance in The Trial of the Black Bear, Hiro repeats "Chuffa! Chuffa!", similarly to Pikachu's "Pika! Pika!".
