Piper's original power was molecular immobilization, which allowed her to 'freeze' objects in movement. Later she manifested molecular combustion and gained the ability to 'blow' up things and people. This is explained through her innate ability to manipulate the movement of molecules: at first, she could only stop them, but then learned how to speed them up, making objects explode. In order to use this ability, Piper needed to wave her hand at a target. The ability does require intense concentration; however, Piper can access it spontaneously, when emotionally unstable. |

Molecular combustion is the ability to cause molecules of matter to blow up.
Limits
The ability when the user comes into contact with a certain object, it causes the molecules to destabalize to a critical mass (similar to Induced radioactivity), and cause the object to blow up.
This power does require active concentration but can be activated if certain emotions are evoked and the user touches an object.
The power can be used at a certain range from the object making this ability very potent.
This ability is similar to Marvel's X-Men member Gambit.
