Character History

Genesis

Claire Bennet and her friend Zach are walking home when Claire spots a train wreck; Claire runs into the wreck in an attempt to test her power of regeneration. Once inside the fire, however, she spots a person overcome by the smoke, and she drags him out.

Officer Ramsford spots her and calls the Fire Chief over to help. Ramsford tries to treat Claire, but finds that she has sustained no burns. The rescued man, however, is severely injured. While their attention is on the injured man, Claire escapes unnoticed.

Trivia

  • When Officer Ramsford first sees Claire, he shouts "Scotty! Scotty, come on!" and the Fire Chief runs to help. The episode credits list the character as "Fire Chief", unnamed.
