Dennis Calero got his start with the comic book The Good Guys #9, but was more famous for his help with tv tie-ins Sliders, Cisco Kid, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Space Between and Masters of Horror: Dreams in the Witch House. He was also a colorist for Cowboys & Aliens, X-Factor, DCU: Halloween, and Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes. He was a lead artist on Legion of Super-Heroes for DC Comics, and created Marvel series X-Men: Noir.
