Jaden Silas is a middle school student living in Chicago. He is also an evolved human with an as-yet unknown ability to passively absorb the powers of others.

Jaden's innate ability is Selective absorption, the ability to absorb other powers through force of will. His ability works similarly to Empathic mimicry, but the user gets to select which abilities are actually absorbed.
