* Yeah, I noticed that, it's just that most have been marked for months without being deleted, so I thought I'd give them a bump and let the admins do their thing. Most are useless and should be deleted without discussion anyhow, it just seems like they're going unnoticed. -- {{User:Friskymuffin/Sig}} 14:30, 4 July 2008 (EDT)

** I guess most of the administrators are busy with other things now. BTW, if you're going through all the theory pages can you fix the br (new line) tags? They should all be closed with a space and / to be w3c compliant. (i.e. use <nowiki><br /> and not <br>).--~~~~

Hey

  • Hey, welcome to the wiki. :) It's always great to see people from the UK here looking for info, too. Saw two of your last discussions on the talk pages and wanted to let you know that new discussions go at the bottom of the talk page rather than the top. In fact there's a + tab at the top of any talk page that you can click to start a new discussion that will automatically take care of adding it to the bottom of the page. Thanks and welcome again! :) (Admin 11:35, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Thanks, that's all good to know! Just one thing - is there any way you can automatically add the (Admin 11:35, 28 May 2008 (EDT)) to the end of a post? I'm sure this has something to do with signature but I haven't yet figured out how to do it... -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 11:36, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
      • Check out Help:Signatures. That question was answered by the welcome message on your talk page you deleted a little while ago. ;) (Admin 12:02, 28 May 2008 (EDT))

Most recent UK episode

  • Sometimes we forget to update the UK episode of the week on the main page quickly enough, so if you happen to be around here after Heroes airs and want to update it, feel free. The template to update is here and you just replace the old episode name with the new episode name where it appears in the template. The template shouldn't be updated until after the episode has finished airing in the UK. (Admin 16:27, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Sure thing, I'll certainly be on here when the UK episode airs so I'll update as soon as it finishes airing on BBC. I'll update the latest Heroes Unmasked as well on the HU page :) -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 11:36, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
      • That'd be fantastic! Thanks! (Admin 16:36, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
        • No worries! I'm in the middle of updating the Unmasked page at the moment actually, it hasn't been edited since the first episode about a month back so it needed one :P -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 11:36, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

GN checklist

Hi Friskymuffin, the instant messaging article isn't complete until it gets a related image in the gallery from R&B, part 2. That's why I undid your mark. You might also want to check Special:Recentchanges to see if there's any comments left as to why one of your changes is undone.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:47, 10 June 2008 (EDT)

Redirects

  • Before adding a large number of redirects like that, it's a good idea to discuss it first just to make sure it's necessary and people are in agreement. Otherwise they may get deleted and it only wasted your time. :) For instance I don't think we need those redirects nor should we ever use them. We refer to episodes by their name for clarity; referring to an episode by "season 1 episode 3" makes it more difficult to identify the episode. I'm definitely interested in hearing other opinions, though. :) (Admin 12:43, 12 June 2008 (EDT))
    • Yeah I agree that they may never be linked like that in an article, but I think it makes it easier for people who don't know the name of an episode to find it, rather than going to the season page then finding the episode. Then again, maybe that's just me :P -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 11:36, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
      • Hmm... that's an interesting point. :) (Admin 13:34, 12 June 2008 (EDT))
        • I just noticed they did it on Lostpedia, when I want to find an episode I search like that, and thought it could come in handy here. At least its there if needed. If it gets deleted, then no hard feelings! -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 11:36, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

Signature

Hey, FM--you've been working hard today! :) Here's a quick tip for your signature, though it's in no way mandatory. You might want to consider making an "autosig" page in addition to your sig page. All you would do is place {{User:Friskymuffin/Sig}} on the page, and then change your preferences so your nickname says {{SUBST:User:Friskymuffin/Autosig}}. This would prevent having all that code on the talk pages every time you sign your name. Let me know if you'd like more info about it... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:37, 12 June 2008 (EDT)

  • I've just done that, thanks! I've always wondered what autosig pages were for, guess I know now! :) -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 18:44, 12 June 2008 (EDT)

Wow!

If this ain't the fanciest userpage system I've seen... Impressive work! --SacValleyDweller (talk) 00:20, 17 June 2008 (EDT)

  • Thanks! :D I just wanted something a little unique, so I had a look at loads of other userpages for inspiration and set about making it look a bit nicer :) -- Friskymuffin - (new comment) 06:49, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
    • A little unique? You bought out the whole Uniqueness store! LOL. nice work! --SacValleyDweller (talk) 00:27, 19 June 2008 (EDT)
