Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes or Heroes Reborn, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for adding a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any fan-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Ted C/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Powers Articles

  • The powers articles are great so far! In fact, I'm not sure they really need to be labeled as stubs ... they're about as complete as they can be, given the information we have. I'm going to go ahead and alter the template to link to them now. It'll make red links, but I think you've demonstrated that these deserve to have their own articles.--Hardvice (talk) 17:27, 7 December 2006 (EST)
  • I know you're not the only one, but I really appreciate all the work you've been doing on the articles for the individual powers - they look terrific. Thanks! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:44, 8 December 2006 (EST)

Young Evolvies

TedC, I liked your theory about Micah and Claire discovering their powers when they were young. You might want to include a note about Sanjog, too... :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:51, 11 December 2006 (EST)

  • Thanks. I made an update in the Theories:Micah section. --Ted C 15:35, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Plurals and Possessives of Family Names

Ryan really does have them correct. Plurals which end in 's' (like the Parkmans) take an apostrophe to become possessive (the Parkmans'). Family names which end in 's' take an 'es' to become plural ("Sanders" -> "Sanderses"); that's why one keeps up with the Joneses, not the Jones. Since they then end in 's', their possessive takes an apostrophe ("Sanderses'"). "The Parkman's" home would be a home which belongs to "The Parkman", which sounds like a nickname.--Hardvice (talk) 13:31, 13 December 2006 (EST)

Ryan has them correct ... except for "The Sanderseseses" -- now, that's just silly. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:26, 13 December 2006 (EST)
