HRG

Not to be critical of anything done creatively on this show, but the depiction of HRG was terrible. I didn't even know it was him; Knox talks about a man in horn rimmed glasses, and there's a man...not in horn rimmed glasses.--Bob (talk) 03:45, 30 September 2008 (EDT)

Reviews

A pretty average novel, scriptwise. However - I *really* like Martinez' art this time; she seems to like to experiment with different styles each time... Pierre 15:15, 30 September 2008 (EDT)

  • you know, it isn't so much the artist sometimes as it is the colorist. I didn't recognize Team Building Exercise as a Kotzebue drawn GN cause of Starr's coloring. There have been other examples of this too. pay attention to the combinations of artist and colorist. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 19:27, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
  • OF course the colorist is important. But in this novel, she uses a lot more pencil than in previous novels. If anything, I'd say that she has got a new inker (knowing,of course, that as far as we know, Martinez inks her own art) Pierre 19:34, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
    • It was a nice story, but besides showing us Knox and Jesse's first meeting and their capture by the Company, writer Chris Zatta didn't really let us learn much more about them. I don't think there was that much action that we couldn't have been told more about Knox, especially since the story is told from his point of view. I think Zatta did a better job writing Dreams Until Death. This novel seems rushed.
Regarding the artist/colorist combination, I agree with SVD but the style of this novel is decidedly different from Dreams Until Death, which is by the same artist/colorist pair. However, I like the art in both novels.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:41, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
      • I like how is rough and gritty, it works good for this story, and I like being able to see the pencil lines. It looks like it was all done on paper, in the last one the colors were probably digital. Alitha mention on her LiveJournal that her name was misspelled. -Lөvөl 03:50, 1 October 2008 (EDT)

Assignment tracker

A billboard above the diner says JMmn142w on it. This is probably Jesse's tracker code. --Piemanmoo 18:04, 30 September 2008 (EDT)
