Charlie is merely a victim of time. No matter how much Hiro bends time and space, Charlie dies at the same time.	Hiro tells Ando he couldn't save her, no matter how hard he tried.(Six Months Ago)	• Because of his failure to save Charlie, Hiro believes he cannot change the past.
The Haitian visited Charlie and erased some of her memories.	None.	+ In Seven Minutes to Midnight, she says that she had started only a week before reading the Japanese phrase book she received for her birthday six months earlier. In Six Months Ago, she started using the book right away. Altering her memory may have interfered with Hiro's efforts to save her — even though he bought her a ticket to Japan, her memory of being told to leave was erased. - Short of Hiro meeting The Haitian in the future, winning his trust and being given a way to prove himself to The Haitian in the past so that he could convince him to go and erase Charlie's memory, there's no way this scenario could work. - It is possible that Hiro simply remembered Charlie enjoying learning Japanese and went ahead and bought her a Japanese book himself. - It seems more likely this was a writers discrepancy. It's common when dealing with time travel.
Charlie knew of her impending death in the changed time line. She simply did not acknowledge that she already knew Hiro when they "met for the first time". She accepted her death at the hands of Sylar because she was going to die of the blood clot anyway and Hiro allowed her to experience love before she died.	Ando doesn't remember anything differently. (Six Months Ago) The events of the novel Saving Charlie pretty much confirm this theory. Hiro told Charlie about her impending death and the two spent Charlie's last night alive making love before Charlie went in to work, with Hiro waiting until after his past self left to save Charlie in order to "return". ||
Hiro's actions did create some changes in the past, but he is apparently unable to make a change that would create a causality paradox: he cannot change the past in such a way that it would prevent him from going into the past.	The different versions of Charlie's birthday photo (and Ando's reaction to the change) indicate the past has changed. (Six Months Ago)	- Due to the events in How to Stop an Exploding Man, the explosion didn't occur within New York City, which was the catalyst for Future Hiro going back to warn Peter Petrelli in the first place. + It may be that in the changed timeline Hiro eventually decides to go back in time and give Peter the message anyway, to prevent the paradox. + This would be more likely, as Future Hiro seems to understand his powers very well.

In fact Saving Charlie suggests that Charlie feigned ignorance.
The blood clot in the brain is ultimately tied to the enhanced memory power. Sylar will die from it.	None.	+ Blood clots, memory, and a man who steals brain all have connections to the head! - When Sylar injected himself with Claire's blood, the blood clot could've been healed. • Charlie was an evolved human. According to research by Chandra Suresh, a particular mutation in the brain has caused some people to develop superhuman powers. The blood clot could be indicating what doctors mistook the mutation in the brain as. • If Sylar is to die from it, he would have either done as he got the power, as an indication of recieving the blood clot from the enhanced memory was probably with age, and Sylar is probably older than Charlie. However, Sylar could of course take years to die from the blood clot if that is what it is from, as all evolved humans are born with such abilities and Charlie only got the blood clot after a certain period of time. - Sylar has the power to understand abilities. He'd be likely to understand if a fatal blood clot was causing one of them, and then easily not take that ability.
