Mayinder is the name for the relationship between Mohinder Suresh and Maya Herrera.

About

Mohinder Suresh was a genetics professor from India who took up the research into evolved humans after the death of his father.

Maya Herrera is an evolved human from Santo Domingo who made her way to New York City to meet Chandra Suresh in hopes that he could help her with her ability.

Maya Herrera is played by Dania Ramírez.

Mohinder Suresh is played by Sendhil Ramamurthy.

Powerless

Maya first meets Mohinder in his apartment when Sylar is revealed to be a killer to her and she gets shot by him. Mohinder later injects her with the cure for the viris witch has Claire's blood in it allowing her to heal back. She is brought back to life by Mohinder.

The Second Coming

Maya hits Mohinder with a racket because she thought he was Sylar. Mohinder later tells her he is going back to india but she gets angry and he tales a sample of her adrenals and he discovers that it can give powers to anyone. Maya tells Mohinder to destroy it and he says he will destroy it. But later at the docks hr injects himself with the formula.

The Butterfly Effect

Maya goes to Mohinders loft and sees him hanging upside-down on a beem and he tells her that he injected himself with the formula. Mohinder shows her his new abilities and tells her he may be able to reverse the genetic code and they share there first kiss.

I Am Become Death

While Mohinder is working Maya comes over to clean up and trys to convince him to come with her outside. Mohinder gets angry and scares Maya away.

Angels and Monsters

Maya finds out about Mohinders involment in the missing of his neighbor. She later trys to get the people out of the webs he put them in but ends up getting caught herself.

Eris Quod Sum

While Mohinder has Tracy and Nathan traped he tells them he need more time to test them but they refuse. He then takes Maya and takes her away to Pinehearst. While there, Arthur Petrelli takes her power and she is later revealed about to leave to go back to Mexico. Mohinder trys to make her apoligize for what he did but she dosen't and she leaves.
