Graphic Novel:Red Eye, Part 2
During the night, Anna goes to the campus bookstore and purchases some textbooks. Upon exiting back onto the campus grounds, she crosses paths with Claire Bennet and gives her directions to Lecture Hall D, where the college is holding an open house. However, before Claire can continue on her way, two security guards under the effects of Ricardo Silva's ability approach them. One of the guards grabs Claire around the neck with one arm and the other guard shoots her three times in the stomach using a gun. In response, Anna uses her ability on the guards to stop their attack on Claire. Ricardo then approaches Anna and explains he is responsible for the guards' actions and was just trying to protect Anna. Anna shouts for help for Claire, but before someone else comes, Claire regenerates her wounds and gets up. The guards also come to, having only their short-term memories erased, and leave once to ascertain that everything is okay. Claire then convinces Anna to hear Ricardo out and Anna invites them both to share dinner with her.
Notes
- Although Red Eye, Part 2 describes Ithaca, NY as a small college town, it is unknown as to whether the drawing refers to a university or a college, and as to whether the campus exists in reality. The drawing in the graphic novel resembles that of the real-life Ithaca College, but the real-life Cornell University is also located in the same town.
