Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the Summary field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Corinthianlasvegas.com

  • Corinthianlasvegas.com is not a spam link. The site is now offline, but url was part of Heroes Evolutions, the ARG for the Heroes storyline. Also, the link you removed was to an article on this wiki. On a different note, on "talk" pages you need to sign your comments with --~~~~ (just click the java signature button to do so) such that your signature and timestamp show up when you save the page. Otherwise, people cannot immediately tell that it's your comment or when you posted it when they read the page.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:37, 25 May 2008 (EDT)
    • I also recommend that you read Help:Editing as soon as possible. When you edit an article, you can tell it's an internal link cause it is surrounded by double square brackets. External links have single square brackets and are formatted differently.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:43, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

I wanted to say thanks, but the talk button for you brings me to your page. I would imagine editing and re editing would be voluntary, but judging by your response time you must get paid. I think thats really cool :) How long have you been doing it? --Outlandishamour 00:51, 25 May 2008 (EDT)

  • None of us are paid. If the response is quick, it's only because we're so enthusiastic about Heroes and spend a lot of time on the wiki. :) By the way, thanks for the contributions you've made. The wiki is only as good as it is because of people like you contributing content where you feel it's needed. (Admin 01:20, 25 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Admin's right, none of us are paid from the Wiki's advertising--those profits go to charity. We do this cause we like Heroes so much and like documenting it on a wiki. If you want to leave me a comment, you can always do so on my talk page.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:04, 25 May 2008 (EDT)
