Jesse Murphy was an evolved human who escaped from Level 5. He was killed by Sylar following a bank heist to gain his ability.

Evolved Human Ability
Jesse has the ability to manipulate sound. He was able to create large sound blasts using only his voice.
According to Jesse's assignment tracker profile used by the Company, Jesse possess the ability of sound manipulation. It is unknown to what extent his control of this ability actually is. Noah notes to Claire that she does not want to know what he can do with his ability.
According to his assignment tracker profile, Jesse's control index is 65%. His data analysis shows his biological level at 20, cerebral at 40, elemental at 70, and temporal/spatial at 35.
While being choked by Sylar, he was unable to use his ability.
Notes
- Jesse has many tattoos, as does Francis Capra, the actor who portrays him. Some of the Francis's tattoos were kept, such as the tattoo on his right arm that says "The Good Must Suffer". However, some tattoos were added to Francis's body, and his existing tattoos were expanded.
- According to his assignment tracker profile, Jesse is 6'1" and weighs 195 pounds. It should also be noted that the profile lists Jesse as having no scars or marks, despite his heavily tattooed body.
