Review

Cool story. I like how they combined this with the graphic novel and the show. As discussed at 9th Wonders, I think that Rachel's friend is likely Anna, though it could be someone new. I guess we'll have to wait to find out.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:36, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Mysterious blonde girl

  • the blonde girl is anna from the graphic novel--Dakard 19:32, 17 March 2009 (EDT)
    • I agree it's likely her, but we don't know yet for sure so can't add the history there. There have been cases like West's and Nathan's where multiple people have the same ability. PS: Anna appeared in the iStory long before she appeared in a graphic novel.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:36, 17 March 2009 (EDT)
    • I'm definitely going with Anna on this one. She raises her hand, and everything goes gray for Jason? Sounds like Neurocognitive Deficit to me. --Skullman1392 19:30, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Janey

Janey does not appear in all cases, and there's so little info. on her that I don't think we need a page for her. Also, I think it's better that she isn't there (in all the cases in which she is there, she gets knocked out or worse...).--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:47, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

  • I got the feeling that, if the player chooses for Jason to go the small cafe, the motorcyclist that enters would be Janey, and Rachel's friend would come knock out both Janey and Jason. --Radicell 04:12, 18 March 2009 (EDT)
    • Right, but everyone that appears in the all options summary isn't included in the appearances template (at least, that's not the way we've been doing it). As far as documenting the story is concerned, only the appearances that are in the optimal solution/summary are credited. Having Janey get knocked out and possibly zombified is not something I think Jason would want (and as far as this chapter is concerned, the POV to optimize is Jason's). Jason avoids witnessing his sister suffer by forcing Rachel to park the car and set up a surprise for the motorcycle rider. The rider then shows up after Jason has injected Rachel with the hypodermic needle, but in that storyline the rider is only presented as someone else and never Janey. As far as we know in that storyline, Janey either never got Jason's message or could have been knocked out in a safer manner.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:33, 18 March 2009 (EDT)
      • Good points. I wasn't considering the "optimal solutions" bit, so I'll leave it as is. --Radicell 04:37, 18 March 2009 (EDT)
