Theory Citations Notes
Ando will be promoted to Executive Vice President of Yamagato Industries. None. + His best friend is the CEO of Yamagato Industries.

- His interest in heroes and Kimiko may lead him to work at the Yamagato Fellowship instead.

+ There is no reason he cannot be Vice President of both Yamagato Industries and Yamagato Fellowship.
Ando is Angela and Kaito's son. Kaito and Angela have had an affair in the past. + Kaito would have to give up the baby so his wife would not be suspicious.

- It's highly unlikely Kaito would have let Ando pursue a relationship with his daughter if Ando was also his child.
- The Petrelli family would have seen that Angela was pregnant...
- Both parents would have powers, and most children of people with abilities also have powers: but Ando does not. (A natural ability at least.)

Future Ando is more powerful than Hiro. In season 3, Future Hiro was shown possibly killed by Future Ando by his power. + Ando probably has a power of his own. Lots of the characters that have powers learned them at different ages. So Ando may have learned his.

- Unless there was more to Ando's power than what we were shown, then Hiro's is definitely more powerful; he can stop time to do whatever he wants.

Future Ando is an illusion created by an evolved human yet to be introduced, or a person such as Sylar or Peter mimicking these abilities, intended to trick Hiro. None. + Connie Logan in the graphic novels has the ability to change people's appearances. She, or someone with similar abilities, may have altered an evolved human who can shoot red bolts to look like Ando.
Future Ando is a hero and future Hiro is evil. None. + Ando looked sad that he had to take Hiro out.
- He may not have been "taking Hiro out". He may have been augmenting Hiro's power (if he has it back yet) for an unknown reason.

+ Although it isn't certain about the nature of Pinehearst Company, in the future Ando works for them, and so far they have been the good guys (in the future, that is), by taking down terrorists.
+ Future Ando killed (or simply attacked) Future Hiro with red lightning. In Heroes, red color symbolizes good guys.

- He was probably helping Hiro, not attacking him.
When has red been associated with good guys?
Daredevil, Spiderman, etc there are a lot...
In Heroes. Almost every good character has been shown wearing red: Nathan's tie, Claire's cheerleader's uniform (in Volume One), Peter's T-shirt under his white jacket and so on. Unlike them, Sylar, Linderman, Adam and Arthur never wore red clothes.
- Nathan doesn't look like he's in the good guy territory anymore.
Nathan hasn't worn red recently...

- If Hiro were evil, he could have easily killed Ando first. The fact that he didn't freeze time and slice Ando in half gives reason to believe that Hiro is still a good guy.
+ Hiro may not have got his powers back.

In Volume 4, Ando and Hiro will change roles, with Hiro becoming Ando's sidekick. At the end of Volume 3, Hiro is depowered while Ando is newly empowered. + This would be an interesting twist to the relationship between Hiro and Ando.
Ando may be able to give abilities to others (possibly temporarily), including Hiro. None. + While he augments those who already have abilities, Ando may be able to give powers (possibly permanently or only temporarily) to others.
+ His "power" is the same color as the liquid made from the formula...red.

+ Perhaps Future Ando was not augmenting Future Hiro's ability, or attacking Hiro...perhaps he was providing Hiro with his ability, temporarily.

+ It is also possible that Future Ando had just discovered that he could give abilities permanently to others, so he was trying for the first time to give Hiro his ability back permanently.
Ando will return Hiro's power. None. + Hiro was on Nathan's list at the start of Volume 4, so it is likely he has his powers. He and Ando didn't touch (you may correct me on this), so when they do, Ando's power will come into play.
- Hiro's file has probably not been updated to reflect that Arthur stole his powers. The only people that knew were Arthur, Claire, and Hiro, and it is doubtful that Arthur's first thought when he returned with the catalyst was to update some paperwork.

+ People do think he can give powers; maybe he can only give powers back.

Ando will supercharge Peter, and Peter will absorb all abilities in any given city. None. + Ando's power enhanced Matt's to allow him to hear everyone in the city of New York.
Ando does not actually have power augmentation. His ability falls more along the lines of energy manipulation, which includes power manipulation as an unintentional byproduct. The first manifestation of Ando's ability did not result from him touching Matt or Daphne. + When Ando first manifests his artificial ability, it begins as random sparks of red energy jumping off of his hands. The reason it augmented Matt's ability may be because when Matt grabbed Ando, the energy jumped off of the latter and into the former, increasing his energy output, which in turn increased the potency of his ability. The same goes for Daphne: when she grabbed Ando, the energy jumped off of him and into her. Another point to consider here is that if Future Ando has the same power as present Ando, then power manipulation, in the form it has been shown via the graphic novels and the actual show, may not be able to be done remotely.
