The Dark Future may still happen/the future is unavoidable		+ Isaac's painting portrayed Mohinder with a smoking gun. When Noah first met with Mohinder & Elle (when West attacked Elle) Mohinder pointed the gun at Noah exactly like in the painting, but Noah saw this and fought it. However, it seemed to have caught up to him at the end of the episode where this time, the gun was smoking. + Also to mention is Hiro's quest to save his father. This explains perfectly why Kaito accepted his death so easily, and the exact same situation happened either way before we know of Hiro's involvement. + This also explains why when we first saw this, Adam disappeared. Hiro has stopped time and thus should he move Adam, it will appear as if he disappeared into thin air. If Hiro didn't get involved in the first place, remember, we'd still see Adam running off or healing before running off. + There seems to be a hidden message in this episode, in that these things are inevitable and will happen. It seems that the things we saw in the first season are finished yet, the city might still be in danger and the Dark Future might still come to pass.
The exact Dark Future we saw in Five Years Gone was a potential time-line which has - through one series of events or another - been prevented.	None.	+ Micah is still alive in the present when he was - according to one of Isaac's paintings - supposed to die in The Explosion + DL is dead whereas he was alive - or at least, alive for a brief period - after The Explosion. • This also means that Sylar cannot steal DL's power as he did in the original Dark Future. + Nathan is no longer in the running for the Presidency.
