| Heat generation also allows the user to turn into air. |
None |
+ Freezing and heating both affect temperature. Freezing has developed into turning into a liquid, so theoretically the opposite would allow the user to turn into air.
- - Tracy's ability also has a water component to it, she might even have a broader ability which accounts for all effects of freezing.
- - No other person with freezing could turn to water.
- - How would heating account for sublimation of a person?
- - The opposite of water is fire.
- - It doesn't even make any sense, anyways. Heat generation does not mean air mimicry.

| Heat generation is an application of induced radioactivity. |
.07%: Ted Sprague emits an electromagnetic pulse. |
+ Induced radioactivity is described as the ability to 'emit radiation', most commonly electromagnetic. This is shown by Ted Sprague's emission of microwaves, gamma waves, and inducing an EMP effect.
- - If Mrs. Comey's ability was induced radioactivity, then anyone who ate her pancakes on a regular basis would be at risk of developing cancer.
- • Not necessarily. Radiation doesn't necessarily make everything it touches radioactive.
- • She emits infrared radiation, more commonly known as heat.

| Heat generation is a proto-ability from which pyrokinesis developed. |
None |
+ Heating works by simply generating heat. It seems more primal than pyrokinesis (which produces actual flames).
- • Heating seems closer to microwave emission than it is to pyrokinesis. Microwaves are a form of radiant energy, a form of heat.
- • Microwaves are not a form of heat energy. Microwaves used in mobile phones don't heat things, the only reason microwave ovens do is because they vibrate at the same frequency as water, thereby making it vibrate, and producing heat.
