Graphic Novel:War Buddies, Part 3
Dallas and Austin search for a downed plane, and find the Skyhawk outside the village of Au Co. The crew's mission was to destroy the village, but they were killed instead. Dallas decides to carry out they Skyhawk crew's mission. Austin protests that it is a peaceful Vietnamese village, but Dallas counters that it is used to grow food to supply the Viet Cong who are fighting in the war. Dallas persuades Austin to destroy the village.

Dallas and Austin attack Au Co, after witnessing a girl seemingly causing plants to sprout out of the ground. Dallas and Austin rig C4 explosives around the village. As they explode, the girl's mother shouts "Au Co" and Dallas relaizes that their mission was to kill the girl, not destroy the vilage.
Trivia
- The fictional village of Au Co is named after a mythological fairy who, in Vietnamese legend, married a dragon and gave birth to the Bach Viet, the first Vietnamese people. Like Austin, Au Co had the power to heal.
