Character History
Graphic Novel:Pieces of Me
Led by Sanjog Iyer in a dream, Ryan enters a castle and walks up a flight of stairs, slowly heading away from a disembodied voice calling his name. He reaches a large set of stained-glass windows depicting various events in his life, including the death and funeral of his lover. The panes suddenly change to his reflection, which pulls Ryan through the window and causes him to fall to his demise. As Ryan ruminates on Freud's fraud, Sanjog visits him again and admonishes him that what happens in dreams should stay in dreams. Ryan awakens in his apartment and draws the curtains back to live his life another day.
Heroes Evolutions
A dream study at activatingevolution.org issued a request for all the readers to send in a written text of what they dreamed in their sleep. One of the submissions was by a Ryan C. The submission describes a recurring dream in which Ryan enters an old castle and sees stained glass windows depicting important events from his life.
Notes
- The Latin phrase "Sumo iam. Vicis est cado" said by a disembodied voice in Ryan C.'s dream submission at activatingevolution.org loosely translates to "Take it now. Conquer and fall."
