Source/Explanation
Mark Sable and Jason Badower explicitly refer to the ability as "electrical absorption" in an interview.

Electrostatic?

Just out of curiosity, why do we keep specifying "electrostatic" energy? Electrostatic energy is electrical energy which is not flowing. Considering the kid is able to pull current (like from the power lines), simple "electrical energy" or "electricity" would probably be more accurate.--Hardvice (talk) 03:10, 19 November 2007 (EST)
