Suggestions

Any ideas on how to make this a bit better? I don't really know how to structure it any better.--Bob (talk) 05:36, 29 November 2007 (EST)

• I don't know either. I was thinking about this the other day. I thought about a "languages spoken" line in the character box, but it seemed a bit superfluous to me. We've generally put other languages in the notes, which is good, but it would be cool to have a page like this somewhere. Perhaps it should be a list: rename it "List of multilingual characters", and go from there. The format wouldn't need to change very much, though putting it into a table may (or may not) be a good idea. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:21, 29 November 2007 (EST)

    • Hmm. If it's going to end up in the mainspace, and I think it should, it will probably be in the Lists section, so maybe it should be "list of languages" or "list of multilingual characters" or the like, depending on how it's organized. That said, the formatting and layout look fine to me, but if you're looking for suggestions, I'd look to some of the other lists.--Hardvice (talk) 03:36, 1 December 2007 (EST)

        • Well, I wasn't thinking just about the Hebrew. If you check Wireless, Part 1, Hana's discussion with her superior in the Israeli army is presented to us in English. It should be noted that this novel is translated from Hebrew, but it's not. However, Hana has presented us translations of portions of a Spanish language newspaper (she translated the headlines herself before asking us to translate the articles). That's on her website as text, but since she is text herself, doesn't that count? :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:30, 9 December 2007 (EST)

          • The latest video on Hana's site notes a political piece Richard Drucker wrote in Spanish, and that he was raised in Argentina, so I think it's safe to add him for at least English/Spanish.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:32, 10 December 2007 (EST)
