Return Date

How do you know it'll resume on September 8th? Is there any source? Mang0es 18:20, 27 March 2008 (EDT)

  • Yes, supposedly a producer gave a message to one of the fans at 9th wonders that that was the date. There's a link in the spoilers section.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:28, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
    • Just for clarification, it was Chris Zatta, and here's the link. I don't think it's on the spoiler page, but I'll add it now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:00, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
      • According to Buddy TV, on September 15, "Heroes will kick off with a three-hour event. First hour is a clip show, followed by the two hour season premiere." 11:34, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
        • Two hours!? --DocM 11:42, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
        • I don't know if it will be September 8 or 15, but I would trust Chris Zatta over Buddy TV. I'm curious if there are any other sources mentioning the return date. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:44, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
          • Found some: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. If they're all getting their info from the same source, then it might be bogus. But the source seems very widely distributed, so my guess is it's coming directly from NBC. I would say September 15 is probably the right date. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:19, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
            • Interesting. The only thing I could find at NBC Universal's site was that the exact release dates would be announced later.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:16, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
              • NBC has changed it's premiere dates for lots of shows. "Heroes" will be back on September 22, 2008. Same 3-hour deal thing.[7]
                • Soon, September 29. Then October whatever. Then 2009. --DocM 19:00, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
                  • Ugg, don't jinx us. If the actors go on strike, it will be 2009...--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:02, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Name change?

There seems to be a lot of ambiguity on the site involving seasons and volumes... shouldn't this be renamed to Volume 3 because ultimately that's what it's referring to? (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:04, 28 May 2008 (EDT))

  • A season can consist of multiple volumes. Season 1 just happened to consist of Volume 1. Season 2 would have been multiple volumes if not for the writers' strike. Season 3 may consist of multiple volumes, we'll have to see how it plays out. Basically we document them by season and then for each season we list the volumes. There are also redirects from Volume One, Volume Two, and Volume Three to the right places so it ends up covering all the bases. (Admin 16:07, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Fair enough, that sounds fine :) (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:12, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
      • Another potential course would be to move the episode info from the "Season" article and put it into a "Volume" article and then to create a Season article that transcludes the Volume articles for any volumes in that season. There's not too much to gain, though, so it's probably not worth the work... but it'd still be an option. :) (Admin 16:15, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
        • Not a bad idea...but I'd wait to see what having multiple volumes looks like and then maybe make a decision next year at this time. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:10, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

According to Anders...

  • I met David Anders at London Film and Comic-Con yesterday. He was very friendly, so I asked him whether they'd finished filming Volume 3? He told me that they were filming episode 7 right now, and that the season would consist of 23 episodes. Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak, and enough to warrant a mention in the article, you think?--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  03:25, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
    • Didn't we already know that there'd be 23 episodes (13 episodes fall schedule and 10 episodes spring schedule)? Anyways, it's cool to know they're filming episode 7 already.--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:40, 21 July 2008 (EDT)

On documentation of the clip show before the premire...

Are we going to make a page about it? Will said page be linked to from this page? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 17:35, 30 August 2008 (EDT)
