Talk:The Company
Split history
Is there any real reason to have two history pages? I know it's long, but Hiro and Claire are long too.--Bob 04:43, 21 May 2007 (EDT)
- I don't mind having just the one page. I made it two only because it's *really* long. Feel free to change it back.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:48, 21 May 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, I'd say we do one page, long or not. (Besides, some of it can be trimmed anyway.) Then after Season One is over (aw, tonight...), we can split S1 histories off and start over for Season Two. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:05, 21 May 2007 (EDT)
- Okay, even though one of the history pages is gone, it's still two pages: The Company and "The Company/history (season 1)," which I don't want to link because it should be deleted. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:20, 21 May 2007 (EDT)
- It minus well be two pages (The Company and The Company/history (season 1)) now. Aren't we going to move all the season 1 histories anyway so we can add Season 2 come fall???--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:16, 21 May 2007 (EDT)
- Even if we are going to, there should be a high-level summary of season one on this article (kind of what's currently in the About section of this article), linked to the history article--not just a bare link. And since we have until September to archive these, I think the split is a bit premature as yet. But if we're going to do it now, it should at least be done properly. We also need to be careful of person and perspective in the history section.--Hardvice (talk) 12:48, 21 May 2007 (EDT)

Original Heroes
Should we recognize the group that obviously used to work together? Clearly, at least Mr. Linderman, Mr. Petrelli, Angela Petrelli, Kaito Nakamura, and Charles Deveaux all used to work together as part of the hero-team that made efforts for good until something went wrong. It has been alluded to multiple times. They also all appear to have some type of connection to the combination of interrelated groups: The Company/The Linderman Group/The Deveaux Society.
- Yes, it has been alluded to a lot, but just becuase it's obvious doesn't mean it's confirmed. We should wait until we have some actual confimartion. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 12:01, 1 September 2007 (EDT)
- Well said. I'm anxious to find out more about it (luckily Volume Two is called Generations), but I'm not sure the original members will be a separate article. It really depends on how it's all presented. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:05, 1 September 2007 (EDT)
- I'd bet the mortgage the groups all originated from the same hero-team and post-incident, they all splintered, only to reconvene in a small way for the events driving our plot in the present.
- "Mastodon!"
"Pterodactyl!"
"Triceratops!"
"Saber-Toothed Tiger!"
"Tyrannosaurus!" this power rangers joke is deemed relavent yet my theory was erased twice? is this a joke?
- I put your theory back in. It shouldn't have been removed, it looks like a valid theory to me pertaining to The Company even if it does combine some theories we have on other pages. (Admin 19:27, 5 October 2007 (EDT))
- However, it does need to be spell checked, linked, corrected for grammar, etc. And only specific citations to episodes and graphic novels belong in the Citations column (example: "When Claire cuts off her toe, it grows back. (Lizards)). Other than that, though, it looks perfectly OK.--Hardvice (talk) 19:57, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
Rename?
So, there's this clip from the video game, this this shot of a book reading "Primatech Research", and the note about Bob that reads "runs Primatech Research". Should we rename this article to Primatech Research? I think it at least merits a note.--Bob (talk) 00:16, 20 November 2007 (EST)
- If everyone starts talking about the Company as "Primatech Research", then I think we can change it later. But since everyone still calls it the Company, I think it should just be a note and redirect for now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:35, 20 November 2007 (EST)
- That's like saying everyone calls Daniel Lawrence Hawkins "D.L.". I know it's not necessarily the same, but its actual name seems to be Primatech Research. I think the writers in the CBR interviews mentioned something about it and it's logo being a tree (as shown in Out of Time).--Bob (talk) 00:45, 20 November 2007 (EST)
- Primatech Research will definitely need a page at the very least. I would not be opposed to have the opening state something like: Primatech Research, also known as simply "the Company," is a multinational research corporation that bla bla bla and bla with bla. The interview source etc. would have to be clearly defined to ward off other users who might be opposed to the change. They've been pretty good lately about revealing these weird mysteries in minor sideline ways (Arthur Petrelli, Daniel Linderman, the Group of 12 photo and the subsequent labelled one). --Tim Thomason 21:28, November 24, 2007
- Added a note that according to the Heroes Interactive from Kindred, the writing staff refers to the Company as the Company 2.0.--MiamiVolts (talk) 21:52, 24 November 2007 (EST)

"The Company" or "the Company"
I was noticing that recently most instances of "The Company" were changed to "the Company" but in some of the latest graphic novels they use "The Company". Was there a specific reason it was changed to "the Company" here? -Lөvөl 10:54, 22 January 2008 (EST)
- I don't really trust the introductions (or whatever they're called). Take Wireless, Part 2 for example. "Gitelman" is misspelled. "Mother" and "grandmother" should be lowercase. "Horn-rimmed glasses" shouldn't be capitalized, and there should be a hyphen between "horn" and "rimmed". --Ice Vision (talk) 11:12, 22 January 2008 (EST)
Thompson as a leader?
Is it correct that Thompson is listed as a leader? He seemed to be a lieutenant if anything (he went lead the mission to retrieve Ted in How Do You Stop an Exploding Man?, Part 2 and Guillame in It Takes a Village, Part 4). He was under the authority of Bob. -- LightSpectra 15:35, 31 January 2008 (EST)
- Being a leader does not mean he is the leader. He was most definitely Noah's superior (and Haram's, too), so he's a leader in the Company. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:21, 31 January 2008 (EST)
Shouldn't this be more about the company itself?
Rather than what its operatives do throughout the episodes?--Citizen 10:53, 5 April 2008 (EDT)
- Isn't that one and the same? If the Company is made up of operatives, then by definition, the operatives' actions would be the actions of the Company, no? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:14, 7 April 2008 (EDT)
How?
How do the Company know where to find evolved humans? Do they have a list similar to Suresh?
Chain of Command
I added a Section for the Chain of command within the company and who has been in charge of operations. Retroarcade 16:04, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
Disambiguation
Since that there is another Company now, shouldn't there be a disambiguation page for Company? Intuitive Empath 17:11, 18 October 2008 (EDT)
Related Articles Bar
I think that a bar should be created for articles related to the Company, like the ones for the Linderman Group and the Pinehearst Company. Isaacthepainter 10:00, 3 November 2008 (EST)
Name
Given the iStory development, it seems like the proper name for the Company is Primatech... Not saying that we should make the transgression yet, though, just pointing it out :) --Pierre 08:58, 10 November 2008 (EST) ...or even Primatech Executive Services.... --Pierre 09:30, 10 November 2008 (EST)
- Sounds more like the proper cover name, just as Primatech Paper Co. and Primatech Research are cover names. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:38, 10 November 2008 (EST)
- I disagree. Flint's Assignment Tracker profile makes explicit mention of the company as being named Primatech. And if you want to disagree with that, then I would argue that Pinehearst is also a cover name.
