Template:Infobox cast

The colors you chose for the cast infobox are fine. You switched the spoiler color, too, though, so Ellen Greene, for instance, was showing up as a regular cast member. I tried to switch it, but changed the wrong spoiler section and didn't have time to fix it before I had to go out.... I just wanted to give a quick explanation.     • To be honest, I'm hesitant to publicize a web address of HTML color codes because I don't want the colors to be changed willy nilly. But if you want it for future reference, that's cool. There are tons of sites that list color codes. Personally I prefer this one. The list doesn't seem to be in any particular order, but I like the selection of colors they have. Another one I use sometimes is this one--it's a very organized list, but I find it more confusing because it's difficult for me to tell the difference among the colors when two neighbors are so similar. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:02, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Portal: Non-fictional places

  • What's the problem with the way Port Washington Harbor is displaying on your screen? In any case, we can't just cram "Port" and "Washington" into one big camel-cased word--that's not its name. If it's splitting onto three lines, try "Port&nbsp;Washington". If it's too wide for the cell, try "<small>Port Washington Harbor</small>".--Hardvice (talk) 17:33, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Edit conflicts

Hey, Heroe. When I was updating Portal:Minor Characters--especially when I was working on template:PortalCharNav--I kept getting a lot of edit conflicts because you were updating it at the same time as I was. Updating those portals is a bit of a high-wire act for me, and having edit conflicts can be kind of frustrating. I appreciate your help in updating them, of course, and I know you always have good intentions. However, if you see me working on them, I'd appreciate it if you just waited a little bit to edit them. Image Cats

Hey, thanks for helping tag a bunch of these images. Think you can start from the beginning? I've moved backwards to Run! Also, I don't think pictures of people's hands constitutes an image of them. signature

You've got the first few steps down with your sig and autosig. Now, go into your preferences and put {{subst:User:Heroe/autosig}}. Make sure the "Raw signatures" box is checked. Then, just type your four tildes (~~~~) and your date should appear. Three tildes is just your name. Five tildes is just the date. Four is both your name and the date.     • Great, looks like you got it. Just beware that when using an autosig page, you're a bit more prone to vandalism. For instance, some wiseacre could vandalize your page, which would change all instances of you using your autosig. It's not that big a deal since it's easily reversed, but it does leave you a little more vulnerable than if you subst: the sig and leave the code on the page. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:42, 3 June 2007 (EDT)

          • I'm sure Bob was just joking around, which is fine with me. :) I can protect a page for you, but then only an admin can edit or unlock it. If that's what you'd like me to do, that's fine. It seems like more trouble than it's worth, if you ask me. But it's your sig page, so I guess you can do whatever you want.
