How can I help?
- Is there any way I can help with your whole powers reorganisation thing? :)-- Lost Soul talk contribs 14:14, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- That would be great. My plan of attack is going down through them alphabetically, just the main pages. If you wanted to start at the end of the alphabet and work backwards, that would be good. Then after doing the main pages, there will also probably be work to do on the examples subpages that most of the large powers have. Thanks. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/2/2007 14:19 (EST)
- But could you just tell me what exactly I have to do, please? I know that sounds stupid, but I haven't been able to keep up with the discussion!-- Lost Soul talk contribs 14:21, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
- Sure, you can go back and look at any of them down through Hana's power, (I'm about to start Peter's next). Bottom line, I am taking the gallery, and moving it up into the Examples section. If there is not examples sub-page, then the section heading is just 'Examples'...otherwise, it will say 'Selected Examples' and link to the examples subpage. Once I get the gallery moved up, then I simply compare the entries in the text Examples, with the gallery examples. I put the fuller text (including the episode suffix), with its gallery image. In rare cases, there will be no picture, and you can use the Image:Neededimage.jpg picture as a placeholder. Sometimes where there isn't a picture in the gallery, you can go to the episode and find one there though. I have also tried to follow a consistent pattern of putting the episode suffix link at the end of a series of pictures that are related within that episode, and tying the images together with the "...this happened...and later this happened." (Genesis) format. That's pretty much it. Just trying to be consistent with merging the test list of examples with the gallery as much as possible. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/2/2007 14:32 (EST)
- If you can also stick
{{needsgalleryimages}}at the top of any page with missing images, that would be great, too. We can use that once we have everything in place to go back and get missing screencaps more easily than Wanted Caps.--Hardvice (talk) 14:47, 2 November 2007 (EDT)- OK, I'll try and do that from now on out. I am trying to find the needed pics as I go along, and right now I am doing Peters, which is pretty robust. (Since he has alot). I know Ryan want's to limit the examples on the mainpage, but with Peter and Sylar I think we should list 1 example of each of there powers on the mainpage...then fill in all the rest in the subexamples page. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/2/2007 14:50 (EST)

- I made it down through Mental manipulation....I'm taking a break for a while. Will check back later, when my wife will let me get back on the computer. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/2/2007 17:42 (EST)

Archive?
Hi HiroDynoSlayer, looks like you could use some archiving for this page... check out my page for an example and let me know if you'd like help.--MiamiVolts (talk) 10:22, 5 November 2007 (EST)
- Nicely done. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:28, 5 November 2007 (EST)
Unknown female
I restored the afd flag for the unknown female. Deciding whether or not an article should be deleted needs to be discussed in talk pages, not in undoing the edits of others or by slipping the removal in with another edit. To discuss the proposed deletion, see the discussion page. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:29, 27 December 2007 (EST)
Redflame image sources
They're screen caps, but where are they from exactly? Don't recall that from any ads I've seen.--Bob (talk) 22:42, 11 August 2008 (EDT)
- Last night's Olympic coverage. They are doing alot of Heroes previews since NBC is covering it.--HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 08/12/2008 08:24 (EST)
Image duplication
Hey HDS. You and I seem to have been uploading a bunch of the same or similar images. (There's something I've heard about great minds...) Make sure before you upload an image, you check some of the image categories first. For instance, if you're going to upload something from The Second Coming, check Category:Images from The Second Coming. Ditto The Butterfly Effect--check Category:Images from The Butterfly Effect. Although there will certainly still be some duplicates (a few always slip by), checking the categories first will certainly help avoid too many duplicate images. Thanks, and keep up the good work! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:13, 24 September 2008 (EDT)
- Also, when you're uploading images, you might want to use the options for Template:Image-screenshot to specify the appropriate categories. The template is designed to make it easier to designate categories, and can be expanded if you want to add a category (like I just did for Claude Rains [there's no "e" in his last name, but if you just do {{image-screenshot|Claude=t}} you don't have to remember that to get it right. :)]). BTW, thanks again for all the image uploads. Nicely done.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:00, 21 October 2008 (EDT)
- Thanks for the suggestion; I've used that template before; it's just that sometimes when I am in a hurry; I can't remember the syntax for each parameter; and revert back to the older style of categorying...I agree the template is more beneficial and flexible. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 10/21/2008 15:17 (EST)
Image quality
What process do you use for creating your graphic novel images? The quality of some of them is...sub-par. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:48, 28 October 2008 (EDT)
